Concept, UX & Design

more Mercedes

From initial pitch to final launch, I supported Mercedes through a major redesign of their sales platform. My role spanned the entire process: wireframing, iterating through countless feedback rounds, fine-tuning concepts and collaborating closely with development throughout implementation.

Lufthansa - Voice AI Travel Assistant

Lufthansa wanted to push the boundaries of what modern LLMs
can do and gave us the freedom to explore.

The Challenge
Create a conversational AI travel assistant, "Elisa," integrated
directly into the Lufthansa app. Users should be able to interact
with Elisa through voice as naturally as talking to a travel agent.

Elisa's capabilities:
- Suggest destinations and provide travel inspiration
- Answer questions about cities and locations
- Navigate and give local tips
- Find and book flights
- Handle casual conversation

The interesting part? This wasn't about wireframes or visual design.

The Real Challenge
Since Elisa operates purely through voice, the UX work was all about prompt engineering and designing the conversation architecture to minimize hallucinations and ensure reliable, helpful responses.

We built:
- A robust code architecture integrating Lufthansa's existing APIs
- A layered prompt system to guide GPT-4's responses
- Conversation flows that feel natural while staying on task

The Result
Elisa was a hit. User testing in Lufthansa's UseLab confirmed what we hoped: the assistant felt intuitive, helpful, and reliable

.

Keep your eyes open Elisa might be coming to a Lufthansa app
near you soon!

More LLM-based (Voice) Assistants:

As each use case for LLMs is unique - depending on the workflow - so is each (voice) chat bot. Here are some other clients I supported with UX, UI & Prompt Engineering for LLM-based (voice) chat bots:

Tamschick: Hadi

Tamschick is a Berlin-based company and they work together with museums, cultural institutions and brands to create narrative experiences for international audiences.

For their "National Olympic Sports Museum" project in Dubai they wanted a voice chat bot - Hadi - that would guide visitors through the museum, create a custom exhibition tour and educate them on sports and nutrition.

Tamschick: Ghost

For their "Dreamverse" project the artists at Tamschick needed a voice based chat bot powered by a LLM. Ghost is meant to speak to users about their dreams, guide them through a tour of the dreamverse (a plane that only exists in the dream world) and help them process and understand their dreams and the deeper meaning behind them.

Jini.jpg

Wycomco: Jini

Wycomco are specialists in everything Mac maintenance. Their motto is "One man, one mouse, 5 minutes and the problem is gone".

Together we build Jini, a text-based, LLM-powered chat bot that Mac users can install on their machine. If users had a question regarding anything surrounding their Mac or general tech stuff they can chat with Jini, who would use Wycomcos data to create on-screen tutorials, guides and answer all their questions.
