This project for Lufthansa was one of those rare ones, since they were ready to test out the limits of what modern LLMs are capable of.

The idea was to create a new user journey in their existing app, that is purely powered by an LLM (ChatGPT 4.0 in this case). Users are meant to talk to the assistant, Elisa, as if they were to talk to any travel agent. Elisa could suggest destinations, give tips and inspiration, answer questions about destinations, navigate through cities, chit chat and - of course - find and book flights, all through voice input.

We set up the code architecture to be able to integrate their existing APIs, on top of that we build a prompt architecture.
Since Elisa is meant to function only through voice the challenge here wasn't to find the right wireframes and designs. The real challenge was to engineer and design the prompts in a way to minimize the hallucinations.

In the end we succeeded, Elisa was a hit and user testing in their UseLab confirmed this.

So watch out for Elisa, soon in a Lufthansa App near you!
More LLM-based (Voice) Assistants:
As each use case for LLMs is unique - depending on the workflow - so is each (voice) chat bot. Here are some other clients I supported with UX, UI & Prompt Engineering for LLM-based (voice) chat bots:

Tamschick: Hadi
Tamschick is a Berlin-based company and they work together with museums, cultural institutions and brands to create narrative experiences for international audiences.
For their "National Olympic Sports Museum" project in Dubai they wanted a voice chat bot - Hadi - that would guide visitors through the museum, create a custom exhibition tour and educate them on sports and nutrition.

Tamschick: Ghost
This one is also form Tamschick. For their "Dreamverse" project they needed a voice based chat bot powered by a LLM. Ghost is meant to speak to users about their dream, guide them through a tour of the dreamverse (a plane that only exists in the dream world) and help them process and understand their dreams and the deeper meaning behind them.

Wycomco: Jini
Wycomco are specialists in everything Mac maintenance. Their motto is "One man, one mouse, 5 minutes and the problem is gone".
Together we build Jini, a text-based, LLM-powered chat bot that Mac users would install on their machine. If users had a question regarding anything surrounding their Mac, its settings or general tech stuff they could chat with Jini, who would use Wycomcos data to create on-screen tutorials and guides and answer all their questions.
